We’re not sure that we ever mentioned it previously, but Linda and I share something else in common – birthdays.  Well, I fibbed a little there as our birthdays are actually a day apart.  When we first met, it was apparent that this was just one more thing that we had in common.

This year is a special one as we both turn the big FIVE – O!

Yes, it’s hard to believe that we are both 50 years old.  Thankfully, neither of us feel as though we are 50 – at least most days, that is.

And we have been together for 32 of those 50 years!  We’ve certainly had our ups and downs over those 32 years, but we also realize that we have been blessed in so many ways that the hard times seem pale in comparison.

Since this is our birthday weekend, we thought it would be cool to offer all of our readers a very special package of materials that can be beneficial in your affair recovery.

From now until midnight Tuesday, October 25, you can grab some great books and programs plus some great bonus stuff for a fraction of their normal price!

Yep, you guessed it – just $50

Here is what’s included:

“Journey to Trust:  Rebuilding Trust After an Affair.”   In this book you’ll discover that trusting again is possible and is a natural process. This guide is written from our own experience and gives you great strategies and suggestions on how you can rebuild the trust in your own relationship. This program normally sells for $47

There is some fabulous additional information in this program that is found in the bonus material, which you will also receive.  It’s tough to place a value on these as we’re talking about a professional’s time, but let’s just say conservatively these bonuses are valued at $350.

You can read more of what’s included in the program by clicking here.

LINESPACE

The Affair Recovery Group deals with the key pressing issues important in dealing with affairs. This six-month program takes you step-by-step through the process of recovery with a series of about 20 hours of audio recordings or PDF transcripts.  This program normally sells for $97.

There are also 3 bonus e-books that come with the program that combined are valued at about $60.

You can read more about the program and what’s included by clicking here.

LINESPACE

“Not Just Friends” is the groundbreaking book on healing from infidelity written by Shirley Glass, Ph. D.  It’s a must-have book for anyone who has experienced infidelity.  Currently on Amazon this book is priced at $10.85 for a new copy.

We will physically ship this book to your home address.

Please note…If you already own this book or have read it, we will gladly substitute another book of your choice (at equal cost) and have it delivered to you.

This 26-page e-book will provide reasons to stop an affair or sexual addiction and is intended for the person who has committed the betrayal.

“How to Build Your Self-Esteem” is a 52-page e-book that will help you analyze your own level of self-esteem as well as help you raise your self-esteem to levels that will enhance your life and the way you view life.

So to summarize, in this birthday special package you will get about $564.85 worth of materials plus about $60 worth of bonus stuff for just $50

Happy Birthday to you both! Thank you for all of your help, guidance and of course for hosting this website that has been a more-than-daily stop for me (and indirectly my H) as we continue along this rocky road of recovery (12 months + 2 weeks & counting!) Enjoy your special weekend…you deserve to!

      • Doug

changedforever, Thanks for being a loyal reader and for the b-day wishes. I think Linda and I might have to party just a little bit.

    • melissa

Happy Birthday – you’re doing a great job!

      • Doug

Thanks Melissa. We appreciate your kind words. Thanks for all of your contributions as well.

    • Notoverit

Happy Birthday to you both! Have a great weekend!

      • Doug

Thanks Notoverit. We appreciate your birthday wishes and your comments.

    • Melvin

Happy birthday and welcome to the 50-something club. We are also new members to this group. It’s a little grayer in this cloud but all-in-all, it ain’t so bad.

      • Doug

Thanks Melvin. When I was a hot-shot teenager, I never thought I’d make it to this “club.” Glad I”m a member and looking forward to the 60-something club. (That club can take it’s time though!)

        • Melvin

Actually, making this club was a goal of mine in my early youth. My dad lost his battle with illness at age 49, so to achieve this milestone is big for me. I now need to identify that next goal to achieve. Too early to start a bucket list ?(LOL).

    • Holding On

Happy Birthday Doug and Linda! My husband and I also share birthdays. Well, like you guys, we are a day apart. However, we are not the same age. He is a few years older.

Thank you so much for this site and your dedication to helping hundreds of other couples in similar situations. You guys have a special place in my heart for making a place like this available.

If my husband was a reader, I’d be tempted to go for all this great information. He isn’t. I’ve been reading like crazy the past 4 months, so many books about affairs, self-esteem, forgiveness, marriage. Tons of your past posts. H has read one book that our therapist recommended we read (His Needs, Her Needs) and that took a while. I think I’m all read out for a while!

Again, Happy Birthday! Enjoy celebrating together! And thanks for sharing this – “we have been blessed in so many ways that the hard times seem pale in comparison.”

I love hearing the positives. It gives me a lot of hope.

    • InTrouble

Happy birthday you guys. You might not be able to tell on here, haha, but with the exception of this one huge problem my 50s have been great – super healthy, self-discovering, and productive years. I hope you live yours to the fullest.

      • Doug

Thanks In Trouble. We don’t feel like we’re fifty and sure hope the next 50 years are good to us! Thanks for your contributions.

    • Alone

      Hi Doug and Linda –

Happy Birthday to you both. You are an absolute God send to us, even us low life cheaters.

      THANK YOU!

      • Doug

Thanks so much Alone. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Many others can learn from what you have to say.

    • Paula

Ditto, Doug and Linda. I thank you so much, also. There are no words. Enjoy your party, your fifties and your children.

I agree with your comment to Alone. Remember, this is all about forgiveness, even of yourself

    • DJ

Happy birthday, Doug and Linda! This is more of the same heartfelt best wishes for a great year ahead – the 50’s are great for me, too. Healthwise and career-wise, these are my best years yet. Just that one big elephant in the room…

Early in my current journey, I held on to every post you wrote and I commented often. I still come here often, but somehow, I don’t have much to say right now. Words just don’t come. But you two still help to keep me going. Thank you so much.

      • Doug

DJ, Thanks so much for the b-day wishes. I’m glad that we have been able to help in some way in your journey. I hope things get better each day for you.

Happy Birthday you two! I have three birthdays right now. My mother’s-in-law, then the OW and a week later mine. Geez, I hope that you two have a better week than I am having right now.

      • Doug

        Thanks battleborn. Hang in there!

    • Tryingtoowife

      • Doug

Thanks so much Tryingtoowife. We appreciate your kind words!

    • Patsy50

Happy Birthday Linda and Doug! I have been reading your posts for the past year and has helped alot. And Doug, the sixties aren’t so bad.

      • Doug

Thanks Patsy! Maybe the sixties aren’t so bad, but that doesn’t mean I need to be in a hurry to find out! 😉

    • Paula

Apologies, you two, would have liked to comment before now, but I really wish you guys so much fun! Has been a great week, away at tournament with youngest duaghter, and had a blast, so neglected the people that have helped me so much recently, yay you guys 🙂
