There are many cheaters who wish that every piece of evidence disappeared for them as well. If it is a computer virus, there may be some people who want it.
I can related to the challenges of technology.
I’m somewhat embarrassed to admit how “panicked” I became when I saw everything was blank . . .
Not half as panicked as I was!
